Another Little Knitting Conundrum!

March 27th, 2014

I am going away for the weekend, only a few days traveling Friday and Sunday afternoon, and I am sure it goes without saying, I want to take some knitting! But I want to take ALL my knitting! I have a fair few projects on the go, maybe a few too many, as I got a but creative this week and played about with blanket designs so now I have a few part started blankets…not really a good idea but I couldn’t rip back perfectly good blankets! I will go back to them one at a time…I have some scarfs, and jumpers, as well as fairy’s and flowers! and so many little bits.. but what do I take with me!?

How are we meant to chooses exactly which items to take away? I can’t take them all but I don’t want to be left with something I cannot do all the time (the jumper is white, so a nono around drinks or children!) or worse still, finish something and have no knitting! 😮 oh just the thought of that brings me out in a cold sweat!

Ideally I would have a roof box on our car and carry all my knitting essentials and current projects around with me wherever we go!

So taking a step back and taking a realistic look at things, I will take the white jumper with me…but as I cant do it the whole time I will take the fairy’s and flowers, they are for the ‘woolen woods’ tree for the charity group Knitters and Natters Charity Matters these need to be finished and sent off in the next few days so really need to crack on with them, but should I take more? like I said I want to take the whole lot!

I guess we will see just how many items I can grab on my way out of the door… ‘just in case’
